always
down this time of year and if you pick your days you can have an awesome time.
Those
who hired my boats during the holidays all got out and got fish, some more than
others.
The
mackerel and tuna have been exceptionally good already, so it should be another
good year.

Here
is an interesting video, done well!
When the weather is good….
We had such a nice day last week that I could
not resist going out for a fish. Wife Sue, son Ben and mate Micky & myself went north to a spot that I
haven’t fished for a while.
and a yellow-fin for me
As soon as we stopped over the bottom fishing
spot Ben hooked up big time.
It was a good snapper, followed by a dhuie.
Micky got another dhuie and in the end had to
let 2 dhuies go as the boat limit is only 2.
Sue holds one of the dhuies that she caught
and kept.
We fished two waypoints and had our bag limit
by 11am and back in my 12pm.
Warning Scam Alert!
Be on the lookout for this girl and her friend. They
are
hanging out around the BCF and Bunnings parking lots.
When you are putting your
stuff away they ask you
for a ride to McDonald's. They are very convincing and
very hot! Once in your car
this one takes her clothes off and starts climbing all over
you. While she keeps you
busy, the other one takes your wallet. I've had mine taken on
the 7th, 8th, 10th and
twice yesterday. Probably two more times tomorrow. The Two Dollar Shop
has wallets for $1.99, so
I bought all they had. These two harlots not only take your wallet, but
you never even make it to
McDonald's so I've already lost 5kgs.
Keep a lookout for them (I
find lunch time and around 5:30 the best times)
How to video
I keep getting asked
to make videos on how to rig baits, rigs, and tackle. Not an easy ask but
here is my first
attempt at new way of making a wind on leader that I have been experimenting
with.
How to make a wind-on

Family Outing
Henry and Suzy
Etiennette hale from Mauritius and were over to visit their sons
Mark, Julien, my son
in law, and Christophe
I took Henry, Mark,
Julien, Christophe and Rebecca my daughter for a recreational fish on a pretty
ordinary day between Christmas
and New Year on the only day they had spare.
Henry has never
fished before but landed this mac that made his day and
Rebecca showed the
boys how to land a tuna.
What’s this.
A Lakes
Entrance trawl vessel captured this sea creature.
It’s a frilled shark and
is one of two remaining species of this ancient family which dates back 80
million years.
It has been caught as
deep as 1,570m but is uncommon below 1,200m.
A living fossil, it
reaches a length of 2.0m.
The long, extremely
flexible jaws enable it to swallow prey whole, while its 300 needle-shaped
teeth aligned
in 25 rows make it
difficult for the prey to escape.
